Sentinel42 Ltd is a UK cyber and AI advisory company. We built ISMS27001 because first-time startups kept asking the same thing: "how do we get certified without hiring three consultants and buying enterprise GRC?"
The founder
A UK-based cyber and AI assessor with over two decades in information security, currently auditing organisations against ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 42001, and running Cyber Essentials assessments.

Why we built this
Every audit engagement started the same way: a folder of half-finished policies, a spreadsheet risk register, and evidence scattered across four tools. The startup had spent months and five figures on consultants — and still couldn't answer "prove control A.5.15 works".
Enterprise GRC tools solve this for enterprises. They're too heavy, too expensive, and too configurable for a ten-person startup that just needs to pass Stage 1.
ISMS27001 is the middle ground: opinionated defaults based on how the standard is actually audited, priced so founders can afford it, with the audit-log guarantees an assessor expects to see.
